The 25th anniversary of the Ladies Annual Fish-Off will be June 3-6 of 2010. This is one of the largest fishing tournaments in South Florida both by number of boats and anglers, and believed to be one of the largest and oldest ladies only fishing tournament in the world. It also has been getting bigger and better every year. The tournaments major beneficiaries will be the junior angler programs of The Billfish Foundation and The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. Over the past twenty-four years the event has raised more than $345,000.00 for our charities. The ladies who fish the tournament have put some trophy fish on the dock in recent tournaments including a 57.7 pound Dolphin and a 77.2 pound Wahoo. The top ten boats and top 3 lady anglers receive cash and prizes along with the top three largest fish in the five non-billfish categories. There is also a separate drift boat division for those with no access to a boat. Top Family, top junior, top captain and top pee-wee prizes will also be awarded. As the name implies, only lady anglers may enter, but men can join the fun as captain and crew. We would very much appreciate your help in publicizing the event.
